Imagine if there was no solitude
On Monday the 11th of May from 17.00-19.00 , Itla, organizes an event with the title “Kuvittele, jos yksinäisyyttä ei olisi”. In English it translates to : “Imagine if loneliness didn’t exist”. The event takes place at Kuutio (2nd floor Oodi Helsinki Central Library).
The purpose of the Itla Children’s Foundation is to promote and support the wellbeing, equality and position of children and families living in Finland and contribute to building a good future for them.
Loneliness is not something that only impacts elderly people. Everyone could become lonely, even young people. The Lonely-EU project is present at that meeting and during the event, speakers like Niina Junttila, Judith Merkies and others will talk about:
– How does loneliness affect health and well-being?
– How can we reduce loneliness and is there something we could learn from young people?
– What if we lived in a world where loneliness does not define anyone’s everyday life?
Niina is a member of our Evidence to Action Board (E2A) and Judith is our Policy expert.
