What would it take to turn #loneliness research into real policy? 🇵🇹
Not another report that sits on a shelf. Not a pilot project that never grows. But practical policies that can work at EU, national and local level.
That is what @LONELY-EU is working on. We are a Horizon Europe project bringing together policymakers, researchers and civil society.
One of the ways we do this: online country policy dialogues.
These sessions are designed to:
→ Connect what we know from research with what countries actually need
→ Find out what is already happening, so we do not duplicate efforts
→ Bring policymakers, practitioners and researchers into the same conversation
→ Prepare the ground for working together in person
Our first dialogue focuses on Portugal 🇵🇹 on 19 January 2026 12:00 (13:00 CET)

O que seria preciso para transformar a investigação sobre #solidão em políticas concretas? 🇵🇹
Não mais um relatório que fica na gaveta. Não mais um projeto-piloto que nunca cresce. Mas políticas práticas que funcionem a nível europeu, nacional e local.
É nisso que o @LONELY-EU está a trabalhar. Somos um projeto Horizonte Europa que junta decisores políticos, investigadores e sociedade civil.

Estas sessões servem para:

→ Perceber o que já está a ser feito, para não duplicar esforços
→ Juntar decisores políticos, profissionais e investigadores na mesma conversa
→ Preparar o terreno para colaboração presencial
